Abstract

This paper analyzes the political Islam of the Muslim Brotherhood in Egypt in the process of the Arab spring from a constructivist perspective. In this way, it deals with understanding how the thought of one of the political-religious actors, with its proposed identity based on Arab democracy, became a threat to the regional status quo.
