Abstract

The incremental prominence of subnational actors is a topic that has gained attention from the different schools of International Relations since the 1960s. This article consists in analyzing the international actions of the province of Santa Fe in the search for external financing for its development between 2007-2017. In specific terms, it focuses on the identification of access and restrictions to the external financing of Santa Fe as a subnational actor and its new foreign financing strategy.
