Abstract

This paper focuses on the study of dissimilar paths neighborly relations Chile-Argentina and Chile- Bolivia. The central line is based on the argument that considers Chile-Argentina ties constitute an exemplar case of mutual confidence while Chile-Bolivia ties remain standing into a distrust pattern. The analyze presents the key concepts to discuss both bilateral relations and justify the choice of subject matter. Then inquire if it was possible to build mutual trust considering the presence of territorial conflicts. Finally, the article thinks about both processes in comparative terms.
